Curriculum
Gawura will offer the NSW Board of Studies Kindergarten to Year 6 curriculum intentionally focusing on Basic Skills performance and other formal indicators of aptitude and skills using a mastery of standards approach. In addition, there will be a dynamic cultural programme where children will learn to celebrate their aboriginality as well as experience music, visual arts and sports.
It is expected that there will be an extensive visiting teacher programme as appropriate. The Campus will follow similar professional policies and procedures of the School but will adapt these to suit the specific needs of the Campus.
