Enrolment Criteria
Enrolment criteria are as follows:
- Aboriginality: Written evidence of being an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent recognised by an organisation with a common seal. The Indigenous Coordination Centre can provide a form for families to fill out.
- Family interview: Commitment to education and motivation for learning and family commitment to being part of the School.
- Acceptance of Christian values of the School.
- The Gawura bus transport service to and from School, can only be offered to students who live approximately three kilometres from Redfern Community Centre. Students outside that area will need to transport themselves to the Campus.

How do I enrol my child at Gawura?
Contact Mr David North on 02 9286 9500 or email to DNorth@sacs.nsw.edu.au. An enrolment form will be provided for families to complete and return to the School. On receipt of the Enrolment Application, the Head of Gawura will arrange a meeting to interview the family. A placement is then offered to the family depending on a position being available.
