The Gawura School is a quiet revolution in Indigenous education. Set up in 2007 by St Andrew’s Cathedral School in response to the disparity in educational outcomes between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians, Gawura offers places for up to 28 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from Kindergarten to Year 6. As students “graduate” from the Gawura Primary program, they are offered scholarships at St Andrew’s Cathedral School for their Secondary education.
Your tax-deductible donation will help us provide the life-changing gift of a quality education for these deserving students.
The Gawura Foundation (ABN 12 625 093 090) is a Trust set up within the St Andrew’s Cathedral School Foundation Limited (ABN 16 001 943 826) to receive donations for Gawura Scholarships. Donations to this fund are tax deductible.
