Task Force
Gawura is made up of two advisory committees which include the original Task Force and the Parent and Community Association.
The Gawura Task Force began working with the project in 2006 and has guided the direction of the Gawura campus to its present establishment. The Task Force is made up of seven members including:
- The Head of Campus
- An Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Christian representative
- Two Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community / government representatives
- One parent
- One staff member
- A representative from the Independent Education Union
The role of the Task Force is to formulate policies, strategic, management and financial plans for recommendation to the St Andrew’s Cathedral School Council.
