Our partners

Partnerships grounded in shared values have enabled us to offer transformative opportunities for First Nations students. The impact of these partnerships can be seen in both everyday moments and lifelong pathways.

Our partnerships are built on shared values, mutual respect and a belief in creating sustainable change.

Every journey is different, but every journey makes a difference, from students becoming the first in their family to complete Year 12, to alumni pursuing careers in law, psychology, business, the arts and community leadership.

In return, we offer transparent and highly engaged partnerships, with measurable outcomes, regular impact reporting and meaningful storytelling and opportunities to connect directly with the community your support is helping to empower.

“My confidence has grown in the classroom since my tutoring. I now have the courage to attempt more worksheets and ask questions when I need help.”

The Gawura Scholarship Fund works alongside private foundations and family trusts who believe in the power of education to create lasting and generational change for First Nations students, families and communities.

Through multi-year, tax-deductible partnerships, foundations and trusts fund Scholarships and associated educational and cultural supports, to provide pathways of hope-filled opportunity for First Nations students from Kindergarten through to Year 12; bringing certainty and stability to our students and their families embarking on this life-changing educational opportunity.

The impact can be seen in the growth in confidence of our students, as well as, broader educational outcomes. The James N Kirby Foundation, for example, has supported intensive one-on-one speech therapy intervention, helping students strengthen literacy, communication and classroom participation. Programmes such as these have contributed to stronger NAPLAN results, improved attendance and lower student attrition.

The Rali Foundation, one of our longstanding partners, supports our Kindergarten cohort each year as their founders are passionate about that foundational educational experience, ensuring our students commence their journey from a secure funding basis.

Other foundations, such as Ravenmill Foundation, partner with us in an unrestricted way โ€“ trusting that we will apply those valued funds to our greatest need. All these partnerships are not transactional; they are built on a shared belief in creating sustainable opportunity, and investing in today’s generation and those that follow.

Our approach to partnership is personal, thoughtful and highly engaged. We are committed to building genuine relationships grounded in shared values, transparency and long-term impact. Partners receive tailored reporting and acquittals, measurable outcomes, and opportunities to experience firsthand the community and programmes their support is helping shape.

Together, we are helping shape futures where First Nations students can walk confidently carrying their strengths, identity and aspirations into the world beyond school.
