For our First Nations students impact is more than a number. It is seen in a child arriving at school ready to learn, in stronger connection to culture and community, in growing confidence, and in students progressing from Kindergarten through to Year 12 and beyond.

However, it is important to measure our impact as this helps us understand what is working, where support is most needed and how every contribution from our Community is helping to create lasting change.
It enables us to clearly demonstrate the tangible difference made possible through the generosity of our donors, partners, families and wider community.
Our 2025 Impact Report shares the outcomes behind that support: academic progress, attendance, wellbeing, cultural connection, practical assistance and pathways into secondary school, further education and employment.
Together, these measures tell the story of a community investing in young people, their futures, and their right to thrive without ever compromising who they are.
“While it is important to understand how my monthly donations to the Gawura Scholarship Fund are used and the change they create, for me it is also about the smiles on the children’s faces, their readiness to learn, and a broader community coming together to support culture and our School.”
